Digital printing possibilities

Digital textile printing

Digital printing, also known as DTG (abbreviation of direct to garment) is direct printing on textile with digital technology using water based inks so the soft feel is ensured.

Technological specifics:
•    Digital printing is not particularly suitable for textile made of 100% polyester. Printing on textile which contains polyester fibres can cause colour deflection from the original design and artificial fibers' colour stability is lower. We recommend using textile with a higher % of cotton fibers for this printing method.
•    Exact pantone colour cannot be guaranteed using this technology.
•    We recommend screen printing if your design contains fully-coloured surfaces and less colours.

Garment pre-treatment used with colour textile leaves fine coating, which is a part of the production process. The coating is more visible on darker textile. Sweatshirts require a more complicated pre-treatment due to the polyester content of the fibers, so the fine coating is somewhat more visible on this type of textile. It ensures that colours will stay saturated and it disappears after first washing. In case you plan to use the textile immediately after delivery, we recommend asking about the possibility of ordering a laundry service in a professional laundry.

We also offer GOTS certified digital printing, which ensures compliance with strict ecological and ethical criteria during the entire textile processing process.

Printer's tip:
•     This technology is widely used with designs containing a lot of colours, fine colour transitions or designs with lots of tiny details.
•    Digital printing is a suitable choice for printing smaller volumes of textile.

MOQ of 50 pcs per design.

By "design" we mean all the printings on one piece of the garment (e.g. if the t-shirt has a heart print, a back print and a sleeve print, it is necessary to order at least 50 t-shirts with this particular specification).
